Is there such a Guinness Record classification for the world's gargantuanest private toy collection?

I've never stopped to do the math, though now I'm horribly tempted to. I won't, though, because it'll make me feel all guilty about dropping so much cash on figures.
I sometimes think about how much more money I'd have if I didn't collect toys..that thought did make me cut down a bit on my collecting habit, along with the usual problems with lack of space. I know I didn't spend up into the thousands on figures this year, but it must be up into a few hundred, which is still a lot of money.
Though I am pretty good about managing my money. I consider what I make from selling jewelry to be my extra toy money. If I haven't sold anything in a while, no toy for me, unless it's something that I know will fly off the shelves and be impossible to find in the future.
Snape, I agree.
if you have the cash, why not?
what else are ya gonna do with it?
can't take it with ya...
mind ya, the same applies to the toys, too.

yep...last month was a killer for me as well....about 1200-1300 bucks....i really want to try to keep track in 2005 as well....just to see......
oh and i'm using snape's "house stuff" idea.....yeah....house stuff...i like that!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">over a thousand in the last month? wow, I think I spent about $50 in the last couple of months. Or at least under a hundred. Maybe $100. If I go any further with this I'll only feel regretful I'm sure.Originally posted by alkoholik:

Really though my figure spending has been pretty conservative lately considering the gaps in between figure lines, with little to anything worth buying in between.

I try to keep track of all the cash I earn and spend in a year (and what I spend it on). I find it interesting what I spend on what. But I'm a boring person.
Most of it's McFarlane, but I also get all of the LotR figures, some Star Wars, DCD (and that stuff's expensive), Pallisades (also quite expensive these days) and other various things. I keep thinking I should keep track of what money I spend on what companies, but that might be a bit much.
PORTHOS, I've been pretty busy. I recently moved. So that kept me from getting online much. And now I've been out buying shelves and setting up toys, now that I actually have room to display them. I also just started school again. So I haven't had much free time these days.
Erm...anything else? I suppose not...
